With a herd of ruminants for over 30 years, it is logical that we have been composting and churning biomatter for a long time. We use a large industrial 3-stage composting process, turning and moving forward each year. We introduced red worms years ago and they have thrived and travel along through the entire process. All compost for sale is 3+ years old even though llama manure isn't "hot" like that of horses and can be applied directly to your gardens. Once through our aging and turning process, our compost is truly black gold!
